About Kadee Malone

Hi, I'm Kadee Malone! If you aren't familiar with me, then you may be familiar with my dad, "The Mailman" Karl Malone, retired power forward for the Utah Jazz of the NBA.

People often think that growing up with a famous father, my life was probably glamorous and easy. I'll admit, it definitely had its advantages. I had an amazing NBA family and to this day, I am close with the Stockton family and the other families of the team.

However, most of all, what I remember was the awkwardness of growing up in front of crowds and feeling pressure that people were constantly watching us. And since I had horrific acne, terrible mood swings, very sad thoughts and lots of nervousness, it didn't always feel like an advantage to have a famous dad.

The older I got, the worse everything became. I became afraid of going to social events, not only because of my severe nervousness of huge crowds, but also because of my face.

I was scared to look at the faces of people because of what they were going to say or where their eyes would linger at the huge pimples all over my face.

I always had my head down and to me that is a big deal.

Naturally, I am a vivacious, open book kind of person. I believe that the eyes are are how you can see a persons real soul and you can really relate to someone just through their eyes. My issues with my acne made start to hide who I was.

I struggled looking for anything and everything that would help my skin.
